About EduSaint
Understand the two product families and who they serve.
EduSaint offers two product families. First, EduSaint Learn and Practice — a student-facing platform including the EduSaint CBT Prep app for practising past questions, study materials, offline practice, and performance tracking for BECE, WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and school-level exams. Second, EduSaint School Management System — a school-facing platform including MySchoolPlus, ATPass Attendance, EduSaint Payroll, EduSaint Insight, EduSaint Credentials, and the EduSaint AI Teaching Assistant. Both families share the edusaint.ng website.
If you are a student preparing for WAEC, NECO, JAMB, BECE, or school-level exams and want to practise past questions and read study materials, use EduSaint Learn and Practice — available through the EduSaint CBT Prep mobile (Android) and Windows app. If your school also enrolls you through its EduSaint School Management System, your practice results can be linked to your school record for teacher review.
Schools should use the EduSaint School Management System, which brings together MySchoolPlus, ATPass Attendance, EduSaint Payroll, EduSaint Insight, EduSaint Credentials, and the AI Teaching Assistant in one platform. Schools may also enable CBT and result sync with the student-facing EduSaint Learn and Practice so that students have practice on their personal devices while the school has full administrative oversight.
EduSaint is used by nursery, primary, junior secondary, senior secondary, and other educational institutions that need an integrated platform for managing student records, academics, fees, attendance, payroll, communication, and examinations.
The School Management System and the student-facing Learn and Practice features that sync across devices are cloud-based and require internet access. The EduSaint CBT Prep student app also works fully offline after initial download, and the Offline CBT solution for schools can run examinations over a local network without internet access during the exam session itself.
Edusaint Nigeria Limited is the company that operates all EduSaint products, including EduSaint Learn and Practice, the EduSaint CBT Prep app, the EduSaint School Management System, and the edusaint.ng website. The company is headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria, and can be reached via privacy@edusaint.ng, dpo@edusaint.ng, support@edusaint.ng, or +234 803 524 0056.
EduSaint Learn and Practice — Student App
How the CBT Prep app, past questions, study materials, offline practice, and learning community work.
The EduSaint CBT Prep app is the student app inside the EduSaint Learn and Practice family. It lets students practise past questions for BECE (Junior WAEC), WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and school-level exams (JSS 1–3, SS 1–3), read study materials, practise offline, bookmark difficult questions, track performance and streaks, and take part in the learning community. It is available on Android and Windows.
The app covers BECE/Junior WAEC (JSS1–JSS3), WAEC (SS1–SS3), NECO (SS1–SS3), JAMB (UTME), and general school-level subjects. The available subjects and years depend on what questions are currently published in the app for your selected class level or exam type.
Yes. The EduSaint CBT Prep app is designed to work offline after the initial download. Practice sessions, answers, downloaded study materials, and question images are stored locally on the device so students can practise without internet access. Data is only sent to our servers when the student adds an email to their account, purchases a license, syncs progress, uses the learning community, or requests account deletion.
When starting a practice session, students can select multiple subjects, choose a class level or exam type (JSS1–3, WAEC, NECO, JAMB, or Junior Certificate for mixed questions), and (for national exams) choose a specific exam year. Only class levels and exam types that have active questions are offered in the dropdown, so students never see an empty choice.
Yes. The app supports two modes. Exam mode runs with a countdown timer and auto-submits when time runs out. Practice (study) mode is untimed and gives instant correct/incorrect feedback with explanations after each question.
Yes. After submitting a quiz, students can tap "Retake" from the result dialog or "Retake quiz" from the review screen to start a fresh attempt on the same topic immediately. Each retake creates a new attempt record so progress and history are preserved.
Yes. After submitting a practice quiz, students can open "Review answers" to see every question, their answer, the correct answer, a colour-coded option breakdown (green for the correct option, red for a wrong pick, grey for skipped), and the explanation where available. The score summary shows correct, wrong, skipped, and total.
The Learning Community is the in-app space where students can exchange ideas, discuss exam topics, and support each other alongside the support team. Students should keep conversations respectful and avoid sharing personal information. The community is moderated and subject to our Terms of Service.
Students can bookmark difficult questions during practice so they can return to them later. Bookmarks are stored per student account and can be reviewed before an exam.
The app tracks scores, accuracy per subject and topic, streaks, and overall progress. These statistics are shown on the student's Account page and help identify weak areas to focus on.
Yes — only for exam-mode sessions. If a student leaves an exam-mode session without submitting, the app offers a "Continue Exam" card in Quick Actions on the home screen when the app is reopened. Practice (study) mode sessions are not treated as abandoned because they are untimed and nothing is lost.
Yes. The app shows a "Leave practice?" confirmation dialog before abandoning an exam or practice session, so students do not lose progress by accident.
EduSaint School Management System — Overview
The platform that brings MySchoolPlus, ATPass, Payroll, Insight, Credentials, and AI together.
EduSaint School Management System is a cloud-based platform for schools that brings together MySchoolPlus, ATPass Attendance, EduSaint Payroll, EduSaint Insight, EduSaint Credentials, and the EduSaint AI Teaching Assistant. It covers admissions, student and staff records, academics, results, fees, attendance, timetables, digital ID cards, library, hostel, online classes, payroll, analytics, digital certificates, and communication.
MySchoolPlus is the core module of the School Management System. It handles admissions, student and staff records, academics, results, timetables, digital ID cards, library, hostel, online classes, and communication tools such as SMS, email, and in-app chat.
Yes. Schools can enable integration with the EduSaint CBT Prep app, which is part of EduSaint Learn and Practice. When enabled, a student's practice results and CBT attempts can be linked to their record in the School Management System for teacher review and report card generation. The school remains the controller of the linked records; Edusaint acts as the processor.
EduSaint provides onboarding, training, and ongoing support through documented help, email, phone, and in-app support channels. Contact the team to confirm the support terms that apply to your subscription.
Implementation time depends on the size of the school, number of users, data to be imported, and modules being introduced. EduSaint will discuss your requirements and agree on an implementation schedule.
Student Information and Admissions
Manage student records, admissions, and class promotion.
The platform supports student profiles including personal information, date of birth, class placement, guardian contact details, enrollment history, attendance, examination results, fee and payment history, and digital ID cards, depending on the modules enabled for your school.
The admission workflow can include collecting applications, reviewing applicants, recording admission decisions, and enrolling successful applicants. Workflows can be configured to match the school's specific process.
Yes. The system supports student class promotion at the end of an academic session, and preserves the academic history so report cards and results remain traceable across classes.
Yes. The Basic plan supports up to 200 students. The Standard plan supports unlimited students. Contact EduSaint to confirm capacity for other plans.
The platform can generate digital ID cards for students and staff, which can carry a QR code for fast lookup and can be printed or displayed digitally. ID card templates are configurable per school.
Yes. The library module helps manage books, borrowing, and returns. The hostel module helps manage hostel allocations and records, depending on what the school enables in its subscription.
Academic Management and Results
Lesson plans, timetables, results, report cards, and scratch cards.
Yes. Teachers can prepare and manage lesson plans through the platform. The AI Teaching Assistant can help draft lesson plans and lesson notes based on a topic and relevant subtopics, but teachers should review generated content before using it in class.
Yes. The timetable module helps organise lessons, subjects, classes, and teaching schedules. Schools should review the completed timetable to ensure it meets their specific scheduling requirements.
Teachers can enter assessment and examination scores. The result system compiles them according to the school's configured grading and result settings, and produces report cards, grade sheets, and result summaries.
Result access depends on the school's release settings. EduSaint supports result-checking workflows, including scratch-card access and QR-based verification where configured.
Yes. The platform supports scratch-card-based result checking. Contact EduSaint or consult the current plan details to confirm available scratch-card options, supply arrangements, and any additional charges.
Yes, when the school enables integration. A student's practice results and CBT attempts from the EduSaint CBT Prep app can be linked to their record in the School Management System for teacher review and report card generation. The school always retains control of the linked records.
EduSaint AI Teaching Assistant
How AI helps teachers generate lesson plans, notes, and CBT questions.
The EduSaint AI Teaching Assistant is a decision-support tool inside the School Management System. It helps teachers generate drafts of lesson plans, lesson notes, CBT questions, and personalised student comments. All generated content is a draft that the teacher reviews and edits before publishing.
No. The AI produces draft content; the teacher remains responsible for the accuracy, curriculum suitability, and tone of everything that is used in the classroom or sent to students. The AI does not make final decisions that affect students' grades, placement, or disciplinary outcomes.
The AI processes the topics, subtopics, class levels, subjects, and any additional context or notes you enter, plus the generated output and basic usage data (such as prompts submitted and feedback on generated content). We do not use your AI inputs to train our own models or the models of third parties, and we recommend schools avoid entering highly sensitive personal data into AI prompts unless strictly necessary.
Yes. The AI can draft multiple-choice CBT questions with options, a correct answer, and an explanation. Teachers should review the generated questions and answers for accuracy, curriculum suitability, and appropriate difficulty before publishing an examination.
No. Because a human teacher or administrator reviews every AI output before it takes effect, the platform does not perform automated decision-making in the legal sense. If we ever introduce a feature where AI materially affects a decision about a student without human review, we will notify affected users or their parents/guardians in advance and offer a right to human intervention.
Computer-Based Testing (CBT)
Online CBT, Offline CBT on local networks, question types, and student practice.
Online CBT operates through the school's EduSaint platform and requires internet connectivity. Offline CBT is designed for examinations conducted on connected computers over a local network without requiring internet access during the examination. Offline CBT availability depends on the school's plan and how the school has set up its local network.
The exam administrator prepares or downloads the examination using the supported Admin application, connects the examination computers to the same local network, and distributes the examination to the Student applications. Students take the examination locally, and results can be synchronised with the online system when internet access is available.
No, the local examination session does not require internet access. The administrator must prepare the examination and local network in advance. Internet access may be needed before the exam to download the examination and after the exam to sync results.
Supported question types include multiple-choice questions, true-or-false questions, fill-in-the-blank questions, and theory or essay questions, subject to the particular examination setup and available grading tools.
Yes. The AI Teaching Assistant can draft CBT questions with options, correct answer, and explanation. Teachers should review each generated question before publishing. AI-generated questions are still subject to the school's curriculum and quality checks.
Yes. The EduSaint CBT Prep app is the student-facing side of CBT — students practise past questions and timed exam simulations on their own devices. Teachers can also enable integration so practice results appear in the School Management System.
ATPass Attendance
How attendance is recorded using QR codes and manual entry.
ATPass Attendance is the attendance module of the EduSaint School Management System. It helps schools record and monitor student and staff attendance using QR code scanning and manual entry.
ATPass supports two methods. First, QR code scanning — each student or staff member is assigned a unique QR code that is scanned to mark attendance for the day. Second, manual entry — a teacher or administrator can mark attendance where QR scanning is not available. Both methods feed the same attendance records and reports.
No. ATPass Attendance does not use biometric data. We do not collect, process, or store fingerprints, facial images, iris scans, voiceprints, or any other biometric data. The only two attendance methods are QR code scanning and manual entry.
The QR code assigned to each student or staff member contains only an opaque identifier — it does not contain the person's name, date of birth, guardian contact, or any other personal data. The opaque identifier is looked up against the school's attendance records.
Yes. Attendance records feed the platform's attendance reports, which can be filtered by class, staff member, and date range. Attendance is also included in the data available through EduSaint Insight.
ATPass can be used through the school's EduSaint platform. Supported devices and available configurations depend on the school's plan. Contact EduSaint to confirm the current availability and pricing of ATPass for your school.
EduSaint Payroll
Staff salary, allowances, deductions, and payroll records.
EduSaint Payroll is the payroll module of the School Management System. It helps schools organise staff salary information, manage payroll calculations, allowances, deductions, and produce payroll reports based on the school's configuration.
Payroll processes staff salaries, allowances, deductions, bank details (where configured), tax identifiers, and payroll history. This data is treated as confidential. Edusaint acts as a processor for payroll data; the school as the employer is the controller.
Because payroll data is processed as part of the school's employment relationship with the staff member, employees should direct access, correction, and deletion requests for payroll data to their school's HR team in the first instance. Edusaint supports the school in fulfilling these requests.
Payroll records and the digital wallet module can be used together when the school configures them to work as part of the same staff records. Contact EduSaint to confirm how payroll and wallet can be linked for your school.
Digital Wallet and Fees
Fee collection, wallet transactions, and parent payments.
Yes. EduSaint includes fee and payment management features. Parents can pay school fees and wallet top-ups online through the supported payment channels (such as Flutterwave and Paystack, where enabled for the school). Contact the team to confirm which channels are available to your school.
The digital wallet is a payment-related feature that supports school-related transactions. Wallets can be funded, used to pay fees, and used to pay for other school services depending on the school's configuration. Contact EduSaint for details on wallet funding, permitted transactions, and applicable charges.
Yes. The financial module supports recording and reconciling payments made by bank transfer. The exact workflow depends on the school's configured payment workflow and any connected payment service.
Payments are processed through PCI-compliant payment processors (Flutterwave and Paystack where enabled). Card details are handled by the payment processor, not by Edusaint, and transmission between your device and the processors is encrypted using SSL/TLS.
Yes. Both parents and school administrators can view payment history, receipts, and wallet transaction records according to their permission level.
EduSaint Credentials
Digital certificate issuance and QR-based verification.
EduSaint Credentials is the digital certificate module of the School Management System. It allows schools to issue digital certificates (such as completion certificates, awards, or testimonials) with a unique credential ID and QR code that third parties can use to verify authenticity.
Each issued credential includes a unique credential ID and a QR code. Anyone with the certificate — an employer, an institution, or a parent — can scan the QR code or visit the verification page with the credential ID to confirm that the credential is genuine and still valid.
Verification shows the holder's name, the credential type, the issuing school, the issue date, and the current status (active or revoked). Verification does not reveal sensitive personal data beyond what is needed to authenticate the credential.
Yes. Schools can revoke a certificate if it was issued in error or the school determines it should no longer be valid. Revoked certificates show as revoked on the verification page.
Yes. Timestamps and basic device information of verifications are retained while the credential remains active and verifiable, for audit and fraud-prevention purposes.
EduSaint Insight
Academic, financial, and operational analytics for school leaders.
EduSaint Insight is the analytics module of the School Management System. It turns academic, financial, and operational data into reports and dashboards that help school leaders make informed decisions.
Insight produces academic reports (performance by class, subject, and student), financial reports (fees collected, outstanding balances, wallet flows), attendance reports, and operational reports such as enrollment and staff activity.
No. Your school's data in the School Management System — including data used by Insight — is not used to train our own models or third-party AI models. AI features (such as the AI Teaching Assistant) only receive the specific prompts you send to them and are covered by data processing agreements.
Available export options depend on the report type and the features provided by the system. Contact EduSaint if you need help exporting Insight data for board reports or external audits.
Communication Tools
SMS, email, chat, and in-app notifications.
EduSaint supports several communication channels: SMS, email, in-app chat, and push notifications. Schools use these to communicate with parents, staff, and students according to their configuration.
Bulk SMS allows schools to send text messages to selected recipients, such as parents or staff, where the service is available. Messages are charged separately per SMS and the current rate should be confirmed with EduSaint before sending.
No. Bulk SMS is charged separately per message. The applicable rate and access arrangements should be confirmed before sending messages. SMS charges should not be assumed to be included in the annual subscription fee.
No. EduSaint does not send marketing or promotional emails or SMS to parents, students, or staff. All communications from the platform are transactional and service-related — such as license status, payment receipts, result notifications, and security alerts.
Yes. Where enabled, the school can send in-app messages and notifications to parents, staff, and students through the platform. Some channels may incur additional charges — confirm current rates with EduSaint.
Plans, Pricing and Licensing
Subscriptions for the School Management System and licences for the student app.
The School Management System is sold as an annual school subscription. The Basic plan costs ₦150,000 per year and supports up to 200 students. The Standard plan supports unlimited students. Please visit the Pricing page or contact our team for the current Standard, Premium, and other plan prices and terms.
The EduSaint CBT Prep app is licensed per student (or per device, depending on the licence arrangement). A licence is bound to a device and can be transferred to another device by deactivating the licence on the original device. Contact EduSaint to confirm current student-app pricing.
The school management platform makes its core modules available across subscription plans. Plan restrictions apply to student capacity and certain separately specified services or features (such as Offline CBT or ATPass). Check the current Pricing page for the availability of specific features.
Yes. You can contact EduSaint to discuss changing your plan. Any price difference, effective date, and revised subscription terms will be confirmed with the team before the change is made.
Yes. Schools can request a demonstration to explore the platform and understand how it can support their operations. Use the Request a Demo page to contact the team and arrange a suitable time.
Longer-term options may be available depending on the product and licensing arrangement. Contact EduSaint to confirm the current price, duration, included services, and applicable licence terms before making payment.
No. Bulk SMS is charged separately per message. The applicable rate should be confirmed before sending messages. SMS charges are not included in the annual subscription fee.
Security, Privacy and Parental Consent
How data is protected, who owns it, and how parental consent works.
EduSaint uses application security measures and access controls to help protect school information. These include encryption of data in transit, role-based access controls, per-school data isolation, audit logs, and encrypted backups. These measures are formalised in a written information security program that is reviewed and updated regularly. Schools should also use strong passwords, restrict account permissions, and ensure authorised users follow responsible data-handling practices.
For school-managed records — students, parents, staff, results, fees, payroll, attendance, and credentials — the school is the data controller and owns its records. Edusaint acts as a data processor. For direct users of EduSaint Learn and Practice (the CBT Prep app), the student (or their parent/guardian for minors) is the data subject and Edusaint is the data controller for their account.
Yes. EduSaint supports role-based access control, which helps administrators assign permissions according to the responsibilities of different users — school administrators, teachers, accountants, and other authorised personnel.
Available export options depend on the data type and the features provided by the system. Contact EduSaint if you need help exporting school records or preparing data for migration.
When a student signs up for the EduSaint CBT Prep app (part of EduSaint Learn and Practice) directly — without their school providing the account — the parent or guardian gives verifiable consent directly to Edusaint during signup. Verification is done through email confirmation sent to the parent/guardian, or in-person verification arranged by our team where email is not available. Parents may withdraw consent at any time.
When a student is enrolled at a school that uses the EduSaint School Management System, the school — not Edusaint — obtains parental or guardian consent from each student's parent or guardian as part of enrollment. Edusaint acts as a data processor and relies on the school's consent record. Parents and guardians should direct access, correction, and deletion requests to their child's school in the first instance.
No. Edusaint does not collect, process, or store fingerprints, facial images, iris scans, voiceprints, or any other biometric data. ATPass Attendance uses QR code scanning and manual entry only.
The full privacy policy, covering both EduSaint Learn and Practice and the EduSaint School Management System, is available at edusaint.ng/privacy-policy. It sets out the data we collect, how it is used, how long it is retained, your rights, our Data Protection Officer contact, and our breach notification process.
Support, Onboarding and Migration
Getting started, migrating records, and reaching the support team.
Schools can contact EduSaint for assistance with product enquiries, onboarding, software usage, and technical issues. Contact the team to confirm the available support channels and the support terms that apply to your subscription.
Students can reach support through the in-app "Request Removal via WhatsApp" contact for account issues, through the support email support@edusaint.ng, or through the contact form on edusaint.ng. The support team responds within normal business hours.
Data migration can be discussed when setting up your school. The available process depends on the format, quality, and size of your existing records. Contact EduSaint before migration so the required preparation and scope can be agreed.
Visit the Request a Demo page and submit your school's details. The EduSaint team will follow up to discuss your requirements and arrange a demonstration.
For EduSaint Learn and Practice (the CBT Prep app), use the "Request Removal via WhatsApp" button in the Account page of the app, or visit edusaint.ng/account-deletion, or email privacy@edusaint.ng. For school-managed records in the School Management System, please contact your child's school in the first instance — the school is the data controller for those records.
EduSaint has designated a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to oversee compliance with NDPA, GDPR, and COPPA. The DPO can be reached at dpo@edusaint.ng or +234 803 524 0056, and is the right contact for any data protection question, complaint, or exercise of your rights.
